I went out to the front porch to mess around with the 5DMKII and I took a shot of a flower Sara bought. Took the image through my usual paces and here it is. I used it as a background element in the Swell Season Poster. As random and useless as a lot of the photos I take are, they end up getting used in a lot of the content I produce in some capacity or another. It beats relying on stock images all the time. Custom iPhone Covers

I recently ordered two custom iPhone cases from UNCOMMON a really cool case manufacturer I found poking around in some design blogs. The uploading/order process was amazing and the site is extremely nice and intuitive. There was an issue with the content of one of my designs due to the art being a naked woman. I got a fast email telling me to call, and I did and it was approved for print and the representative was very helpful. I am guessing that if your designs have more nudity or a more suggestive tone containing nudity or sexual situations, you may not be able to get your image printed onto a case through this company. So that is the only blemish on what was otherwise an awesome experience doing business with Uncommon. The cases are $40 + shipping and your art simply has to be at least 2000×2000 pixels. The rest is up to you.
Xmas Card 2009
Well it is Christmas again and that means an epic Christmas card! This year was a pretty crazy card with all sorts of inserts and wildness. Sara and I did the photography and of course, the rest is the result of my madness. Enjoy!
Barcelona + Aquarium + Canon 5d MKII = Awesome.
Notes from the creator:
This was shot at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan.
The music is “Please don’t go” by Barcelona.
The main tank called the “Kuroshio Sea” holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water and features the world’s second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.
This was shot using a Canon 5DMKII with a 28-135mm lens.
Crazy late night photoshop fun.
Model is Laura – Darkasia, image from our first shoot. Tons of textures and layers.

New Shoot with Laura Elisa
Sara did some incredible hair for this one. Lots of wig pieces and foam balls under it to give support for the shapes. She also maide some braids to tie it all together. Marcy hooked up some cool make up as well. Sara did all the photography this time around and I did my photoshop treatments. Good times.
Portraits and Bones!
Our latest shoot with Laura- DarkAsia. Got some neat stuff this time around. Many more edits to come from this huge shoot as time permits.
Creepy Pink Doll Photoshoot
Our first shoot as a team! Sara and I did the photography and Marcy did the make up while Sara did the hair. They did awesome! And of course the model was rad, thank you KidCadet!
Key West was a good time.
We stayed at the Hyatt and went out to see the sights for two days. I had a sprained neck and Sara had a wicked cold but we still had a great time. We went to a butterfly garden, an old civil war fort, a treasure museum, the southernmost point of the U.S.A. and a bunch of walking around. Key West need about 1000 less bar/seafood restaurants. That is nearly all there is there. Pretty lame. I get that people go there to get wasted and throw up oysters, but come on, give people some variety. We tried to find a place to eat that was not a bar/fried seafood/pirate themed bullshit nightmare and it was seriously hard. We had to consult a menu book of the island just to find one because if you just walk around, there is just a maze of garbage food to navigate through. Breakfast at the hotel was awesome though, as was the restaurant within. Another interesting tid-bit… I look like a resident of Key West. Go figure. Check out the gallery of picutres from our adventure. We got some good shots! All images were taken with a Canon G9. I LOVE that camera and am going to probably get a G10 soon so both Sara and I can go off shooting at the same time instead of having to share.
